Essential Wellness Breathing
Breathing Re-education consists of a series of breathing exercises and guidelines specifically designed to reduce over-breathing (clinically known as ‘chronic hyperventilation’). Bringing breathing volume towards normal and making the switch from mouth to nose breathing helps to alleviate numerous health problems such as asthma, allergies, anxiety, COPD, COVID Prevention, Post COVID, sleep, snoring and stress. As a result, nasal breathing improves cranial facial development, dental health, sports performance and cognitive health.
Exercises are simple and taught to all adults regardless of age or health and all children over five years of age.
While breathing is an involuntary activity, it is subject to change by stresses of everyday life, processed foods, excessive sitting and talking, lifestyle choices and environmental factors.
